The designated brief: to produce a collector's item with a high predicted value.
In partnership with the marketing and sales departments, we are putting forward the “threshold gift” offer: with the purchase of 2 pallets, Bardahl remote-control boat comes free!
A 1:25 scale replica of the Hydroplane “Miss Bardahl U-1” - in limited edition (2,000 numbered items).
The Eccodis team is plunged themselves into the Brand’s universe and the world of mechanical sports. Throughout our research, we found press cuttings, photos, pilot rankings and the full list of Bardahl boats...
Digging deeper into this history and into its details has enabled us to complete the objective set for us on a dual level:
> We have of course designed a small-scale version of the Bardahl hydroplane suitable for mass production.
> However, we are also offering personalisation of the whole packaging, telling the story with archive photos and articles on the subject, the fabulous rise of powerboat sports and the glorious era of Bardahl boats.
The resulting product has been designed like a rare model item and its packaging created to meet this high standard.
This unique item is a real trigger for customers. It helps boost sales and also achieves a second objective: it maintains an affectionate relationship between the consumer and the Brand, in a story that began over 50 years ago...
